Vehicle seat protector policy: Use of a vehicle seat protector is not permitted.

Inflatable seat belt policy: It is NOT permitted to install this car seat with an inflatable vehicle seat belt.

Infant insert/cushioning use: To ensure a better fit for smaller infants, use the 2-piece infant insert (included) for infants between 4 lbs (1.8 kg) and approximately 9 lbs (4.1 kg). This infant insert was designed to optimize fit and body positioning for your child. Continue to use the 2-piece infant insert until all fit criteria is met. See the car seat's user manual for more information on fit criteria. Once the infant reaches approximately 9 lbs (4.1 kg), the lower Preemie Cushion can be removed and the Back Positioning Insert can continue to be used alone until approximately 4 months.
