Center seat lower anchor installation: Allowed for car seats with flexible lower anchor connector straps if also permitted by the vehicle manufacturer AND the lower anchor connectors are 11-20 inches apart. NOT permitted for car seats or booster seats with rigid lower anchor connectors.
Vehicle seat protector policy: Use of a vehicle seat protector is not permitted.
Inflatable seat belt policy: It is NOT permitted to install this car seat with an inflatable vehicle seat belt.
Infant insert/cushioning use: The optional Infant Insert will help provide a better Harness fit for smaller babies, as well as stability for the torso. We recommend using the Infant Insert until about 3 months of age or the baby weighs about 5 kg (11 lbs). When installed, the Insert should be flush with the Buckle. When used with a smaller child, the Infant Insert Side Wings can be folded in for better support of the child and to help with proper fit when securing the child.
Other ways the seat can be outgrown (aside from height or weight limits): Top of child's head is a minimum of 2.5 cm (1 in) below the top of the Infant Car Seat or Headrest, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER.
