When we first began chatting, she did not have a birth doula or a prenatal class (but wanted both of these things), and I helped her get set up with that as well.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Before birth:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Visit 1<\/strong> (second trimester): baby gear planning, diapering and feeding (this is related to baby gear planning), building your support village<\/li><li><strong>Visit 2<\/strong> (third trimester): car seat installation, filling in any gaps after your prenatal class regarding birth, postpartum, comfort measures, and newborn feeding, utilizing the best resources for end of pregnancy comfort.<\/li><li><strong>Visit 3<\/strong> (36-ish weeks): CPR, choking, injury prevention for the whole care team (anyone who might look after your baby is welcome to join).<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>After the birth:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Visit 4<\/strong> (in the first weeks after birth): Safe sleep, baby wearing, anticipating future milestones and mitigating home hazards<\/li><li><strong>Visit 5<\/strong> (around 4-5 months): Preparing for solid foods and mobility, assessing baby-proofing and future gear needs<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-963c3d5 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"963c3d5\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b32ff5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1b32ff5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Client 2: The Works Package<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d774424 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d774424\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Client #2 hired me when their baby was 3 months old.<\/b><\/p><ul><li><b>Visit 1<\/b> (right away):<ul><li>Private 2 hour Infant\/Child CPR, Choking, Injury Prevention workshop for all the caregivers<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><b>Visit 2<\/b> (shortly after or combined with the first visit):<ul><li>Car seat check,<\/li><li>travelling with your baby, discussing upcoming developmental leaps and changes, safe baby wearing options for a baby with good head control<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><b>Visit 3<\/b>\u00a0(when baby is 4.5-5 months old):<ul><li>Home Safety Consult and future gear purchases as your baby grows<ul><li>Includes tour of your home so I can take pictures of areas and then send specific recommendations by email for clarity and time efficiency<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><b>Visit 4<\/b>\u00a0(when baby is 5-5.5 months old):<ul><li>Preparing for starting solid foods and early mobility, putting together a first aid kit, awareness of common medical conditions<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><b>Visit 5<\/b>\u00a0(when baby is 6-7 months old):<ul><li>Moving up to the next car seat, getting ready for walking and climbing, and first aid tips (now that your baby will be able to access more and grab at more things).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-81592f6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"81592f6\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1aca842 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"1aca842\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b4548ed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b4548ed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/safebeginnings.ca\/safety-support\/\">Prepared Parents Safety Support Packages<\/a> are all-inclusive, and tailored to fit each individual family\u2019s needs.
