The standard for childcare first aid.
Emergency Child Care First Aid is an 8-hour training program that meets the requirements for child care workers in the province of British Columbia. Through hands-on training, this first aid course will give you confidence to respond effectively in an emergency in a child care setting.
Emergency Child Care First Aid trains rescuers in the skills and knowledge needed to assess and provide basic life support to patients (adult, children and infants) with airway, breathing, or circulatory emergencies as well as a variety of medical emergencies. Emergency First Aid with CPR-B certification will be awarded.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are children welcome?
In privately hosted courses, children of any age are welcome to be present.
How much space do you need for a course?
Our courses require open floor space – large living rooms where furniture can be pushed to the edges of the room tend to work well. Common rooms in strata complexes work really well, too!
Can you accommodate a group larger than 16?
Get in touch and we’ll try to accommodate you! In some cases, running multiple courses may the best/most economical option.
Which course is right for me?
Let us know what your needs are, and we’re happy to recommend the best course for your current situation.
